Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before processing payments.
- Enter and maintain accurate vendor information into the accounting system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with the month-end close process.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documents and invoices.
- Assist the AP team with other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
