Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness against purchase orders.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors efficiently.
- Enter data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) with a high degree of precision.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, status updates, and invoice discrepancies.
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Previous experience in an administrative or finance role is preferred but not required for this entry-level position.
