Responsibilities
- Assist the senior accounting team with daily financial data entry and reconciliation tasks.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and accounts payable documents.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes under supervision.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a desire to learn accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a fast-paced environment.
