Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budget reports under supervision.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform basic tax preparation support and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently enrolled in a CPA track program).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role or internship experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or NetSuite is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
