Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with attention to GAAP compliance
- Assist in general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and manage vendor relationships
- Conduct internal audits and ensure documentation accuracy
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial data management
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks/other accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required
