Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Input and maintain accurate financial data in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Assist the senior accounting team with annual audits and tax preparation.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making.
- File and organize physical and electronic financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
