Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and identify discrepancies.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to maintain accurate ledgers.
- Prepare and file basic tax documents and local business registrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (graduates with 0-2 years of experience are encouraged to apply).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) eligibility is a plus but not required.
