Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and balance sheets.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Input and verify financial data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and government reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required for exceptional candidates).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero is a plus).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
