Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated individual to assist with general accounting duties, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in finance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for all financial entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to input and maintain data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
