Responsibilities
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including data entry and transaction reconciliation
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor communications
- Support tax filing documentation and compliance requirements
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks) for daily operations
- Conduct financial audits and internal control checks
- Prepare budget variance reports for senior accountants
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
