Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger and financial statements.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes under the supervision of senior staff.
- Prepare and organize tax documents and compliance filings.
- Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for financial records.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or a strong internship background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
