Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) for data entry and analysis
- Conduct bank reconciliations and transaction verification
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and compliance
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial audits and reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
