The Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support our accounting operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes under supervision.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and digital filing systems.
- Reconcile discrepancies in general ledger accounts and assist in audit preparation.
- Conduct basic financial analysis and assist in budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcomed).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Clear communication skills and a professional demeanor.
