Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and optimize cash flow cycles
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement control improvements
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Streamline accounting processes using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and month-end close
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing audits and compliance requirements
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
