Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles with precision
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to maintain accurate financial records
- Support internal audits by gathering documentation and ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with senior accountants to improve financial processes and controls
- Monitor expense reports and ensure proper documentation for tax purposes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting
