Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports ensuring GAAP compliance
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for transaction processing
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- QuickBooks certification or equivalent experience preferred
