Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable/receivable
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Process payroll transactions and ensure timely tax compliance
- Support internal audits and regulatory documentation requirements
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) for transaction processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software exposure preferred
