Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries and ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
- Support the annual tax preparation process and assist with audits.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll data and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Perform general accounting duties and assist other team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Current forklift certification (preferred but not required).
