Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to general ledger accounts.
- Prepare basic financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Support the senior accountants and tax team with data collection and document preparation.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships considered).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
