Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Support external auditors during annual audits.
- Manage and organize physical and electronic filing systems.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or currently pursuing a CPA).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
