What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by compiling data and preparing necessary schedules.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, variance analysis, and supporting documentation for management review.
- Process invoices, verify expense reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing requested documentation and supporting schedules.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to maintain up-to-date ledgers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a CPA/CPA eligible status).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional but recommended).
