Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
- Process payroll data and maintain personnel files.
- Assist in the preparation of sales tax and local tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies in data.
- Strong ethical standards and professional demeanor.
