Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices efficiently.
- Prepare basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and ledgers using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the senior accounting team with daily operational tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax schedules.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to obtain professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
