Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors and clients.
- Month-End Close Support: Help prepare trial balances, financial statements, and adjust entries under supervision.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records in our accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- General Ledger Support: Monitor and update journal entries and assist in preparing audit schedules.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. We welcome students and recent graduates eager to learn.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
