Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and invoice processing.
- Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial files and records.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in preparing basic financial reports.
- Learn and utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
- Perform general clerical duties to ensure efficient office operations.
- Assist senior accountants with monthly and annual audits.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be a quick learner willing to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, EA) in the future.
