Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with high accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and basic financial reports.
- Support the senior accounting team with data entry and audit preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (prior coursework is a plus, not required).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new software systems and adapt to changing processes.
