Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions accurately
- Assist with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting
- Support payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation
- Learn and implement QuickBooks and Excel for financial analysis
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn new software quickly
- Commitment to professional development in accounting
- Valid Texas driver's license (for occasional client visits)
