Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with financial data entry and reconciliation of bank statements
- Prepare basic financial reports and documentation for client reviews
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures under supervision
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks) for transaction recording
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to learn accounting software quickly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid New Mexico driver's license (client site visits required)
