Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll transactions and maintain employee expense reports
- Support tax filing preparation and documentation compliance
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Communicate financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent coursework)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information
- Proactive problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. work authorization and reliable transportation
