Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and transaction recording
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports
- Support accounts payable/receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks) for record-keeping
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis projects
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (training provided)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (training available)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
