Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and organize general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries.
- Perform basic financial analysis and assist with budget preparation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a CPA exam (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
