Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and data entry.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly statements.
- Support the accounting team with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Organize and maintain financial records and documents.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audit schedules.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems.
