Responsibilities
- Assist with full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements and reconciliations for diverse clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct audits of financial documents to ensure accuracy
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 0-2 years of relevant accounting internship or experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Valid Florida driver's license for client visits
- Certification (CPA, CMA) preferred but not required
