Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger Accounts: Accurately record and categorize daily financial transactions into the general ledger system.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and manage incoming payments and collections.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure bank statements match company records and identify discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and variance analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to federal and state regulations and internal company policies.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with Audits: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience (Internships or entry-level roles are highly welcome).
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with QuickBooks or Xero is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy in data processing and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interaction.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ethical judgment and professional conduct in all financial dealings.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
