Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing and posting of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes under supervision.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and receipts in our digital system.
- Prepare basic financial reports, such as trial balances and income summaries.
- Respond to general financial inquiries from internal teams or clients.
- Identify and correct data entry errors to ensure financial integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (preferred but not required as training is provided).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
