As an Entry Level Accountant, you will work closely with our senior staff to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis. If you are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding account status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
