Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and posting of monthly journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is up-to-date and error-free.
- Support the annual audit process by gathering and organizing required documentation.
- Prepare basic financial statements, trial balances, and variance analysis reports.
- Assist senior staff with budget preparation and forecasting tasks.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing and payment inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently enrolled in a relevant program).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- High level of attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
