Responsibilities
- Assist in daily bookkeeping operations and data entry with high accuracy.
- Process and verify accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to the general ledger.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
- Prepare and assist in the generation of monthly financial reports and summaries.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes and audit preparation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding account inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and industry standards.
