Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Enter and verify financial data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Assist with the audit process by organizing and maintaining financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.
- Support the tax preparation team during peak seasons.
- Prepare and mail invoices and billing documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- No prior professional accounting experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
