Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and organize supporting documentation for audits.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to input data.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior experience is required. We are looking for candidates willing to learn.
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a bonus).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional office errands).
- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, Bookkeeping) post-hire.
