Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end close process and assist with journal entries.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with the senior finance team on ad-hoc reporting projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (0-2 years of experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
