Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close procedures with timely reporting.
- Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets.
- Prepare basic financial statements and assist in the budgeting process.
- File and organize tax documents and other financial compliance records.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and QuickBooks.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within the finance sector.
