Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process accounts payable invoices and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records using accounting software.
- Support the annual audit process by gathering necessary documentation and schedules.
- Prepare and file federal and state tax documents under supervision.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for departmental projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Recent graduate or currently pursuing a CPA certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
