Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and within established deadlines.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of basic tax documents and compliance filings.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing inquiries and financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and formulas are a plus).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
