Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by preparing journal entries and schedules.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform basic tax preparation support and compliance filing where required.
- Assist senior accountants with ad-hoc financial analysis and data entry tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Recent graduates with internship experience in accounting are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Attention to detail and ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
