Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing of daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Enter and verify financial data into accounting software with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure balances are correct.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
- Assist the senior accounting team with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Generate basic financial reports and spreadsheets for management review.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
