As an Entry Level Accountant, you will work closely with senior staff to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and contribute to the financial health of our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Process payroll entries and ensure tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to the general ledger.
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation.
- Assist senior accountants with internal audits and financial analysis projects.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to update and maintain financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
