Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and organize financial documents and reports for management review.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Process invoices, verify data, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support the tax preparation team with necessary documentation and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
