Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Process payroll transactions and ensure all timesheets are accurately recorded.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist the senior accounting team with tax preparation and filing compliance.
- Organize and file physical and electronic financial documentation.
- Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcomed).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role or relevant internship.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced office setting.
