Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and reconciliation
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor communications
- Process payroll and tax documentation under supervision
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and Excel
- Support internal audits and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on financial projects
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- No prior accounting experience required – training provided
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- California residency required (no visa sponsorship)
- QuickBooks certification preferred but not mandatory
